**Position Summary:** The Endocrinologist will serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team at Northeast Community Clinic, tasked with achieving the strategic goals of the clinic's programs. Reporting directly to the Medical Director and adhering to established clinical protocols, the Endocrinologist will deliver comprehensive care to all patients. Collaboration with the Medical Director will be essential in the initiation and sustainability of quality care initiatives within the clinic. .

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and adrenal diseases.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order and interpret specialized diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.
  • Collaborate closely with primary care providers, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in endocrinology to apply the latest therapies and best practices.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives as appropriate.

Schedule:

Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completed residency training in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics, followed by fellowship training in Endocrinology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
  • Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice endocrinology.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills in endocrine diseases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
