Allergy and Asthma Associates is seeking an Entry-Level Medical Assistant to join our team in San Jose. As a Medical Assistant in our Hospital/Health Care industry, you will play a crucial role in providing support to healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility. Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
• Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimens appropriately

Requirements:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
