We are looking for a Customer Service Associate to play a key role in our community outreach and fundraising initiatives. In this position, you will engage directly with the public, educate them about nonprofit missions, and drive fundraising efforts at local events. This entry-level role provides valuable hands-on experience in event coordination, customer engagement, and nonprofit fundraising, making it perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, people-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event attendees, providing information and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Educate the public on nonprofit missions, encouraging participation and long-term support.
  • Assist in meeting fundraising goals by engaging donors, securing contributions, and promoting charitable initiatives.
  • Support event planning, logistics, and on-site execution to ensure smooth operations.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with attendees
  • Gather customer feedback, track donations, and maintain accurate records to improve future outreach efforts.
  • Work closely with colleagues, contribute to a positive team culture, and mentor new team members.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Passion for community service, nonprofit work, and making a difference.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Previous experience in customer service, fundraising, or event coordination is a plus.
